To most of the customers who either have the $5.99 Circle K Beverage Subscription or a favorite cup of their own, reusing coffee cups will seem like a no-brainer. I worked at Circle K for over 5 years. What I realize is, people love their morning cup of coffee, and having coffee everyday is really a thing. Still, for establishments like Starbucks who are trying to decrease their carbon footprint, the idea of customers bringing their own cup is a bit new, especially, when customers are doing it using the drive thru window and not an automated machine serving up fresh brewed. The Baristas are using some type of container apparatus to collect cups from customers and return them, to prevent the transfer of germs. Yet, there is a question about deliver time since Baristas have to deal with complicated Custom Orders. If you are still wondering if Americans will embrace the idea of using their favorite coffee cup, then you may need to try a cup of fresh brewed, self served Columbian Coffee, using your favorite mug, at Circle K, to be convinced. Don't forget to BYOC (bring your own cup) for a hot cup of fresh brewed coffee at Circle K.
