Life is about those moments that define us in a make or break rise or fall. Yeah, you may be telling yourself that who you are is not something that you need to be reminded of simply because you know who you are. However, if you get stuck on that notion, you will eventually miss out on many opportunities to become a better person or a better performer (of some sort) at whatever your craft may be. Remember, the post we shared with you about Chris Noth? If you have forgotten, he used his celebrity voice to encourage diabetes screenings and increased education on thie symptoms associated with the disease. Well, Nick Jonas is another celebrity who is letting his voice be heard on the subject of diabetes. Diabetes does strike the young too! He is actually fighting the disease. Here Nick Jonas was photographed with his Jonas Brothers.

Here's what this Jonas Brother had to say about his condition and simple win. "Having diabetes doesn't mean having to slow down"...he has a site called Nick's Simple Wins where he tells you all about his collaboration with Bayer. Nick also offers dog tags that can be used to identify diabetes patients in place of the medical bracelets usually worn by individuals with serious health conditions. He has said that he followed the model of what his family did for him and wanted to do the same thing for other diabetics. One fan even described the dog tags as fashion forward. Nick Jonas made it a point to mention that the tags can also be worn as a symbol of support for the cause itself, to raise awareness. Nick Jonas is a Type I Diabetic. He was diagnosed in 2005 with the condition.
Life goes on, even when the going gets tough and we face illness or other hardships during life's journey. It's so easy sometimes to lose yourself when facing an illness, but Nick Jonas has the courage to remind you to love him for who he is in the song called Who I Am.
