Spending time with our kids is essential for bonding purposes, and it bring families closer together. We can often learn a lot about our children just by observing their behavior. Kelis was photographed at an event she attended with her son Knight Jones. the paps also managed to snap some shots of her little one. You may remember me featuring Kelis on this blog at that very event, but the picture I showed did not fully reveal her sons face. Check them out together.
He looks so adorable in his leather jacket and designer Jordan Sneakers. Oh and peep his hat game with the jeans and tee. He is so fashionable at such a young age. Not that I am surprised, Kelis is his mother. There is just one thing wrong with that picture, according to some fans. There have been reports that a select amount of fans questioned Knights wardrobe. The Jordan Sneakers are what caused all the talk.
Don't get me wrong, Kelis seemed to be having lots of fun bonding with little Knight Jones. The problem is: the event was given to introduce Vans Yo Gabba Gabba shoes. Take a look at what shoes were up against little Knights Jordans.
Now, the shoes are really cute and fun looking for kids, but why did everyone expect him to be wearing them at the event? Here are some other pictures. In one photo, it does look like little Knight will be walking away with a couple of pairs that will belong to him or someone very close to Kelis. The shoes are possibly a gift. Anyway, that is what caused all the uproar.
Seriously, I don't see anything wrong with him wearing a different brand of shoes to the event. Afterall, kids are very independent these days. Making fashion choices helps them to realize the importance of planning and organization. It does not matter if Kelis or little Knight chose the sneakers. The important thing is mother and child were bonding, spending time together. Just showing up with her handsome little man, added the celebrity fever that often pushes brand notoriety.
