The King (played by Mickey Rourke) a guy with a big personality. A Mr.Tough Guy on screen and as rumor has it, off screen as well. You may recognize the star Henry Cavill (plays Thesus) he played Superman. In Immortals as Thesus, he plans to avenge the death of his mother. The object of desire is the long lost Bow of Epirus, and the King does not care who he hurts as he seeks to gain possession of it. Destroying life and property along the way, the King has the support of his army. Ultimately, he wants to rule the world. Freida Pinto (plays Phaedra) and her role has her foretelling the future of Thesus. She starred in the movie Slum Dog Millionaire. The visions she sees has her convinced that Thesus has the power to stop the bloody barbaric attacks being carried out by King Hyperion and his murderous flunkies. Thesus is not afraid to take on King Hyhperion and is supported by a posse who is willing to help him go to battle against the evil opposition.
