Nice Gunz made it clear that he loved New Balance Sneakers, stating their affordability as one of the reasons he gravitated toward the brand. The bold N symbol probably influenced his choice, just a bit. Afterall, he has been called Nice since he was an infant, by family and friends.
The new Air Jordan's XX9's may give the New Orleans Rapper a reason to look away from his favorite New Balance Sneakers.
This past weekend, the larger than life Air Jordan Brand, hit stores everywhere. Sneakerheads had to be enthused to the sole! According to Maxim's John Sckarrino, last years sneaker received a lackluster response from Sneakerheads. Taking into account last years reception for the XX8's, the pressure must have been extremely overwhelming for Designer Tinker Hatfield. There a some major differences to take into account, when thinking of the differences between last years sneaker and this years Air Jordan XX9's.
For instance, last years design highlight was using components of military jack boots. This year, Tinker Hatfield and the rest of the Air Jordan Design Team's inspiration came from an Italian Style of craftsmanship. Here are 2 features and their benefits that may prove to some consumers that Nike's Air Jordan is superior sneaker brand.
- Italian Weaving---------------------------------------------thicker, denser support in more abused areas
- Flightplate Technology-----------------------------------extra sturdiness and springiness in the sole
Take a look at the man behind Air Jordan's most coveted Nike Designs. He's the guy many call genius, the man other than Micheal Jordan, many think of when Nike Air Jordan's come up in conversation.
This years design really reminds me of the look of stained glass. It has yet to be determined if Nike's Air Jordan XX9's will wow Sneakerheads to the Holy Heights of the former Legend, Micheal Jordan. Meanwhile, while we wait for the critics to weigh in, we can look forward to seeing two colors (Black/White Gym Red and Black Team Orange-Dark Grey) gracing the feet of those who want first bragging rights.
What does the new design remind you of and are you buying in? Tell us what you think in the comment section!
