Eva Mendes is known for being the go to Actress who embraces her cultural background and her curves. On camera she is a fireball of beauty and now she is using her face and branding power to introduce new Cosmetics line called Circa, to the masses.
In partnership with Walgreens, Circa is a new private label brand created to attract all women to what is being called a slice of luxury. The line should be available at Walgreens, before spring officially creeps up on us, in March.
Manufacturer Maesa specializes in private label and exclusive brands for retailers and the company helped Walgreens make this multicultural brand a reality.
Here is what Eva Mendes had to say about Circa and her new role as Creative Director of the brand.
I've been involved with the Beauty Industry for a long time and wanted to help create a Cosmetic line that could reach a wide variety of women. When Measa approached me, I knew that opportunity had arrive. According to the Actress, being a Latina Woman makes this endeavor even more vital because some women of color feel as though they do not have access to high quality brands. Eva Mendes seems to want to change that false perception, by bringing luxury into the Drugstore. I will admit that I buy Prestige Beauty Brands like Too Faced and Benefit Cosmetics. Still, buying beauty brands sold at the Drugstore helps me to have what I would call a well rounded beauty experience and the results prove, I am not sacrificing quality either.
Do you think that Cosmetics sold at Drugstores can satisfy all your beauty needs?
