My own personal and professional journey has made me realize something my Mother says all the time, you have to crawl before you walk. I once thought that Nursing would direct my career path, especially after I became a Nursing Assistant at age 25. How wrong was I? Instead of moving from Nursing Assistant to Licensed Practical Nurse which was my original plan, I became an Insurance Agent, among other things. In obtaining my credentials, I have surprised and made a lot of people proud, including my Parents who are well aware of my whole life journey.
Jimmy Patronis has been appointed since the video was released and like me, he has had quite a journey. Patronis started out earning an Associate Degree while working at the family restaurant called Captain Anderson’s Restaurant and Market, for which he is now a partner. Since my Son Rodell is a Professional Cook when he is not Serving as Associate Pastor at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church, preaching or serving in some other capacity, I feel even more compelled to share this news. It is vital that you realize that your life journey can take you to places you never planned or thought you would be. The lesson is, do not be discouraged when you are crawling. Your life journey is a process and you never know where it will take you. It’s never to late and your journey is not over, until it’s over.
Patronis stated he was honored. “As Floridas next CFO (Chief Financial Officer) I want Florida to be a place where government does its job fairly and predictably so workers can find great jobs at great businesses” said Patronis. That’s all. Kudos…
