Minister Phillips started his Sunday Sermon out in song, and everyone joined in raising their voices in high praise at Sunday Service and I was so pleased to be at Mount Moriah Missionary Baptist Church when it all went down. Its an understatement to say, I was almost moved to tears as he used text from the book of Luke to deliver a message of hope throughout the congregation. He spoke of a woman who was afflicted with an ailment which caused her to be bent over and bound by her condition. Telling us all, when God gets ready, he has the power to straighten us and situations out. When he said that he was himself under construction, it was easy to relate to the message, even more. That woman was not perfect, she was bent and herself under construction to be something else at some point. Listening to the Sermon, I realized that we all have to start from somewhere and we are aiming to be better, to live better and to do better things to have a positive impact in this world.
The real lesson is understanding that we can work to change and in our affliction, we have to continue to believe that God is with us, even when the going gets tough. I tell you one thing, I got going with the message this past Sunday. My advice to you is, never forget that you should always be striving to improve and understand that God is in mist no matter how tough things get or how afflicted we are. What Minister Rodell Phillips is doing under the guidance of Pastor Quintin P. Woods is truly amazing. I'm so proud to be his Mum. Trust, ask and it shall be given. To learn more about Mt.
